I misunderstood. When you said that you wanted to use VMWare, I thought you meant that you were going to install VMWare on the server. But you did not log in for several days, so I returned the server to Hetzner.
I also had thought you were going to try running your script yourself, directly on the server.
Maybe, before too long, we will be able to try your script with the NVMe drives and with RAID on a different server.
Again, I am sorry! Thank you for the work you did on the script. In the long term your work will be helpful to many people.
@Not-Oles #171 I'm so sorry that you misunderstanded my meaning, Sir. These days I did works are built different hard drives and motherboard firmwares for different experiment environments like the following, the host machine is VMware workstation 17.0.2, running on the Windows 10 pro operating system in the ThinkPad P73 laptop, the OS of all client virtual machines are Debian 12 amd64:
BIOS + NVME drives;
BIOS + SCSI drives;
UEFI + NVME drives;
UEFI + SCSI drives.
In above four situations, all other hardware specs of these virtual machines are 1 CPU with quad cores, 4GB RAM, NAT dhcp networking, no USB controller, printer and any other devices that unrelated with the results of this experiment.
The hardware name of NVME devices are "nvme0n1" and "nvme0n2"; the name of SCSI devices are "sda" and "sub".
@Not-Oles #171 Sir, do you have any physical machine from like hetzner to test whether auto raid 0 recipe is vaild or not? The most difficult problem that uefi firmware raid 0 recipe will fallback to GNU GRUB version 2.0x is solved.

@leitbogioro #156
Oracle Linux 8

Oracle Linux 8
