The Low End Spirit forum is a good place! Like here at Nodeseek, LES has lots of great guys! So I would be delighted to see you on LES, in addition to here at Nodeseek. I am sure everyone else at LES also would enjoy your company! Same is true for you other guys here at Nodeseek!
By the way, as an Alpine noob, I am unsure what should be expected. However, I noticed on the InstallNET Alpine install that none of /etc/alpine-version, /etc/os-release, or /etc/issue seemed to update to edge even after rerunning apk update, upgrade with /etc/apk/repositories set to edge/main and edge/community. There didn't seem to be any *apk-new versions of these files either.
After messing with some apk fix commands, I tried setup-alpine. Neither the apk fix commands nor re-running setup-alpine seemed to update the version files in /etc.
Here's a transcript of the setup-alpine output. Maybe you might be interested in the last line.

Anyway, looking forward to also seeing you and other guys from here over at LES! 😃 Best wishes! 😃
@Not-Oles #303 Sir, "edge" is not a truely independent rolling version of AlpineLinux, you can comprehend it as a always updated version of current AlpineLinux.
For example, the latest mainstream version of AlpineLinux is 3.18, so the "edge" version is based on 3.18 too, if AlpineLinux team plan to release 3.19 in several months in future, the "edge" version is equal to 3.19 instead of 3.18.
@Not-Oles #300 Thank you, I think I should register a account on https://lowendspirit.com/ and make a propagation about my script.
