Hello! I am writing to request a free VPS to support my work in MLOps (Machine Learning Operations) and open-source data model development.
My goal is to use this VPS to run a 100% FOSS stack for lightweight data science experiments.
Planned Open Source Software to Run:
1Panel (GPLv3): As a server management panel to simplify Docker, firewall, and file management.
Docker: As the core container environment for isolating and deploying my development projects.
JupyterLab: Deployed via Docker, used as the primary tool for data analysis, model training, and visualization.
Scikit-learn / Pandas / NumPy: For training and evaluating lightweight machine learning models (such as gradient boosting trees, random forests). (A 2c/4G configuration is very efficient for such tasks).
Contributions and VPS Usage
I actively participate in the data science open-source community by sharing reproducible research and reporting technical issues on GitHub.
A stable FOSS VPS environment will allow me to host 1Panel and JupyterLab services, securely run experiments, and share my environment and results with the community to advance the application of FOSS in data science.
Server and IP Request
• Location: Chisinau — Alexhost
• Configuration: 2 vCore, 4 GB RAM, 100 GB SSD. This is ideal for my 1Panel setup and lightweight data science experiments. The 10 Gbps port at this location is also attractive for downloading Docker images and datasets.
• IP Address: I need a dedicated IPv4 and IPv6.
• Reason: A dedicated IPv4 is crucial for accessing the 1Panel WebUI and JupyterLab. In addition, I plan to deploy a front-end visualization dashboard for training my back-end model, which also requires a static IP address.

I’d like to apply for a free VPS mainly to run an open-source monitoring probe (like NekoBox/Cloud-Probe) to contribute to global network performance visibility and light up the Europe region on the community map. I plan to share the results publicly so that others can reference real latency and availability data.
I also plan to deploy a small uptime tracker (Uptime Kuma) instance and a lightweight web dashboard to visualize network metrics. All of them are open-source, transparent, and low on system load.

只是不适合搭建需要入站ipv4的项目
