Thanks for your question! I updated your previous "dedicated IPv4 Chisinau" request to "dedicated IPv4 or IPv6-only Chisinau." I also marked your request as "Accepted." You can see the status of your request at https://fossvps.org/list.html.
Today I plan to try updating the server. We will see how it goes. It will be a few days, I think, before your VPS can be assigned.
If I am making any mistake with your request, please let me know.
Alexhost kindly assigned 5 additional IPv4 addresses. As shown on https://fossvps.org/list.html, there are more than 5 requests for IPv4 VPSes already Pending or Accepted but not yet Assigned.
Probably, if you have another VPS with both IPv6 and an IPv4, you could use socat or a proxy or wireguard or soemthing else to connect via IPv4 from your IPv6-only VPS.
Hello again! I thought everything was okay, but now I suspect significant problems.
The Chisinau node came back up after the hard power reset. I could log in to the node remotely, and on the node it appeared that all the VPSes were running. I got into my test VPS via Qemu console from the node. Everything at first seemed okay!
But I couldn't make a new VPS using one of the newly assigned IPv4s. Additionally I discovered that I could not connect via ssh to my test VPS, either remotely or from the node, although other connections, for example to icanhazip.com, seemed to work.
Looking at dmesg on my test VPS suggests issues with the new netplan configuration.
My guess is that at least some remote ssh connections to VPSes might not be working. Maybe other remote connections to VPSes still work.
My guess is that it might take quite a while to troubleshoot and resolve the issues. Apologies!
Hello, I have submitted relevant information in #211, hoping to get a VPS of Chisinau. I prefer to use private IPv4, so Chisinau server is my first choice, but if there is no private IPv4, IPv6 is also acceptable.
One idea I have is to revert to the former netplan configuration, which was working on all the previously assigned IP addresses but not the newly assigned addresses.
Another idea is to reinstall the server node, to get it rebooting without needing a power bump.

There are not enough IPv4 IPs.
Thanks again! Always best wishes!

Following update and upgrade, the Chisinau server reboot finally happend at Mon 22 Sep 2025 12:35:18 AM UTC.
Prior to the update, upgrade, and reboot I believe we successfully applied changes to the netplan configuration.
I think the server will need a power bump, like previously, so I have a ticket open with Alexhost.
Hello!
The Chisinau server is back up following a hard reboot.
All the VPSes seem to be running.
Any problems, please let me know!
Best!

Two client reports confirmed the issues I was seeing. Netplan reverted. Chisinau node rebooted.
