Migration deadline: Saturday, October 10, 2026 at 23:00 UTC
What to expect: Your VM will be offline for up to 1 hour while it is migrated. Your data and configuration will be preserved, but your VM will be assigned a new IP address and the current one will stop working. Once the migration is complete, we'll send you the details, including your new IP address, via a support ticket.
What you may need to update:
DNS records (A/AAAA) pointing to your current IP. Lowering the TTL on these records now will help the change take effect faster.
Firewall rules, allowlists or access controls that reference your current IP, both on your server and on any outside services.
Software licenses, applications or services configured to use or bind to your current IP.
Prefer an earlier time? Because the IP change may require you to update other systems, you're welcome to pick a time when you're available to handle it. Reply to this email/ticket or contact our support team with your preferred date and time (in UTC), and we'll schedule it. If we don't hear from you, the migration will be completed before the deadline above.
Recommended: Please make sure important services are set to start automatically on boot, and take a backup of any critical data beforehand.
