we're writing to share an important change to the way we bill bandwidth.
With immediate effect, included bandwidth for servers in US, UK and NL will be set to:
5TB per month for VMA31 and cheaper plans
10TB per month for VMA41 and higher plans
Your included bandwidth is accrued hourly on each server and pooled into a single account limit.
Included bandwidth is IN + OUT combined and any usage beyond your pooled allowance at the end of the month will be billed at €1.50 per TB.
Why are we making this change?
When we launched unlimited bandwidth, it allowed us to keep pricing simple. As we've grown, a small number of users pushing 100TB+ 24/7 has started to affect network quality for everyone else and makes it hard for us to keep our pricing and premium network sustainable.
To keep our network fast and our pricing affordable, we need to move to a fair-use model.
