We’ll get straight to it: Ready is changing direction. In mid-August, the Ready app will move from Starknet to Base, and focus on holding and spending digital dollars. We’ll share the full story behind this change very soon.
We know this is disruptive, particularly if you use our current app every day. Here’s what’s happening and what you need to do.
First, the most important part: your assets are safe and remain under your control.
When the app updates, you’ll automatically receive a new self-custodial account on Base.
Your Starknet assets will not move to it automatically. Please move them before August 15 using one of these options:
Move them to Ready X (our self-custody wallet for Starknet): The recommended option for most people. Keep managing your assets on Starknet, or send, swap and bridge them to other chains from there.
Send your assets to another wallet: Use Layerswap directly inside the Ready app

Ready X will continue to support Starknet.
What if you miss the deadline?
Your assets will remain safe and accessible. You’ll still be able to send tokens to Ready X, but accessing DeFi positions (e.g. staking, borrowing) or NFTs will require a full account recovery through Ready X, which will include a seven-day security waiting period.
Moving your assets before August 15 is faster and easier.
