As the VM billed hourly, the allotment is calculated hourly. Let's run an example below.
VM deploy at Oct/01/2025 00:00 with 5TB monthly bandwidth allotment.
-- by Oct/02/2025 00:00: Your bandwidth allotment is 5TB * 24 hours / (672 hours, this is one month hours) = 0.03720238 TB.
-- by Oct/02/2025 00:00: Your bandwidth usage is 1TB, then the estimate billed is 0.96279762 TB over usage bandwidth. You will be seeing a huge estimate billed at this time.
-- By Oct/31/2025 23:59: Your bandwidth usage is 4.9TB, then there is no over usage bandwidth. Your actual billed comes out $2.00.
If you shutdown the VM right in the middle, then your allotment will not be counted as a full 5TB. You will then see the over usage bandwidth on the bill because you will be billed partial of $2.00 for the VM. If this is the case, you can let us know and we will adjust accordingly by charging a full $2.00 (instead of partial) and allocate the full 5TB.
Regardless, your first billed will very likely be covered by the initial welcome credit. I would say let it run normally and wait for the actual bill comes up on Nov/01/2025.

咦，咱看负载满了，就升级配置了，好像就没超
话说它家实例只能升级不能降级
不知道是不是bug，我用每月2刀的跑了5.1TB（IN+OUT），账单慢慢增加到了50刀，删机后又开了个30刀的，20T流量肯定不会超，也跑了5TB，但账单金额也是慢慢增加的，又增加了50刀，现在产生了102刀的账单
